The warranty ensures protection against general timber rot and decay. However, it's important to note that the guarantee does not extend to cover natural occurrences such as timber splits or warping over time.

To uphold the validity of this guarantee, strict adherence to assembly instructions is essential. Additionally, the product should be treated annually both internally and externally using a suitable high-quality preservative. Furthermore, all glazing units must be properly sealed both inside and out with silicone or a similar watertight sealant. For detailed guidance on correct assembly and maintenance, please refer to our comprehensive help centre.

The Warranty may become invalid under the following circumstances:

  • Incorrect assembly by the end user. Please refer to our product assembly guidelines.
  • Unsuitable base for assembly. All buildings should be erected on a firm and level base made of appropriate material. See our build a base guide for details.
  • Failure to annually treat the product both internally and externally with a suitable high-quality preservative. Refer to our product maintenance section.
  • Lack of sealing for windows, both internally and externally, with silicone or a watertight sealant. See our product maintenance section for guidance.
  • Customization or adaptation of the product in any manner.
  • Contact with trees, plants, or exterior walls post-assembly, potentially allowing moisture to penetrate the timber.
  • Cutting, piercing, or drilling of timber without subsequent application of approved cut-end treatment.
  • The claimant is not the original purchaser of the product.
  • Damage to or incorrect fitting of roofing felt or covering, leading to water ingress. Please review our product assembly section for details.

Please be aware that timber is a natural material susceptible to changes in appearance, including some degree of movement, warping, and splitting, especially under extreme weather conditions. Such natural occurrences do not compromise the structural integrity of the product and therefore are not covered by the guarantee.
