The company was formed in 1945 initially to produce prestigious Dagless Yatchs! Shire utilised the highly skilled workforce to produce the best garden buildings available. Continuous investment in modern machinery and expansion of factories and warehouses now occupy 20 acres across in Wisbech located near ports enabling direct shipments of timber from Scandinavia.

Shire production facilities include a modern planing mill with numerous moulders and re-saws, joinery component mill, four way jointing, CNC machine, SIP panel lines, automated crosscuts, pressure treatment plant and much more.

All Shire products are produced to the highest standards using quality materials from sustainable sources. Timber is imported direct from Scandinavia where it is slow grown, Kiln dried and only the best grades are selected. Shire prides its self on good value for money products and have products suitable for every budget.

Working closely with selected partners we import and distribute plastic garden buildings, fence panels, play equipment and much more.

Following placing your order you will receive a message inviting you to book a delivery date, this message is usually received within 2 working days. The majority of orders are delivered within 7-10 days. Far reaching postcodes may take a little longer depending on the time of year as we group together economical delivery routes, this helps us to protect the environment while allowing us to offer the best value for money products to all. We only offer delivery to mainland addresses.

We have a variety of vehicles mostly small flatbeds but also large HGVs, if you have restrictive access please let us know.
